1. What classes are offered at DanceXplosion?

DanceXplosion offers a range of classes including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, and acrobatics for various age groups and skill levels.

2. How can I register my child for dance classes?

Registration can be completed online through our website under the “Registration” section, where you can fill out the necessary forms and submit payment.

3. Are there trial classes available for new students?

Yes, new students can participate in a trial class before committing to a full term. Please contact our office to arrange a trial class.

4. What is the cost of dance classes?

Class fees vary based on the frequency and type of class. Detailed fee information is available on our website or by contacting our administrative office.

5. What should students wear to their dance classes?

Each dance style has a specific dress code which can be found on our website. Generally, proper dance attire and shoes are required for all classes.

6. How often do students have performances?

Our recreational dancers have the opportunity to perform in our annual DXmas Holiday performance in December along with our Annual Recital, held the first week of June.

7. What is your policy on missed classes?

Recreational dancers are offered make-up classes by attending any recreational class in the appropriate age group. Feel free to reach out to the office staff for suggestions if needed!  Company dancers are welcome to make up missed technique and ballet classes in any lower level tech/ballet.  All make-up classes should be completed within a month of the missed class(es).

8. Does Dance Xplosion offer competitive dance teams?

Yes, Dance Xplosion is composed of four levels: recreational, pre-company, intermediate/advanced competitive and elite competitive.  Auditions for our pre-company and intermediate-elite companies take place over the summer through our intensives.  Please reach out to us for additional information.

9. How can parents stay informed about their child’s progress and studio updates?

Dance Xplosion communicates primarily via email. Monthly informative newsletters are sent out to keep our dance families up to date on exciting events, upcoming studio closures, etc.  If you are not receiving emails from us, please let us know!

10. What safety measures does DanceXplosion have in place?

Our studio follows strict safety protocols, including regular cleaning and sanitization, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained, and following health guidelines to prevent the spread of illnesses.
